NCVO initial response to conservative party green paper
On 2 June 2008 the Conservative Party launched a Green Paper, A stronger society, voluntary action into the 21st century. The paper sets out a range of proposals on which they are seeking the views of the sector.
NCVO, on behalf of its members, intends to respond in detail to the proposals in the autumn.

Charity leaders' confidence falls
The results of NCVO’s second Charity Forecast Survey have been launched, showing a drop in charity leader’s confidence and highlighting their worries about the economy. The report is now for sale, although this edition is free to NCVO members.

NCVO response to DCLG consultation on cohesion guidance for funders
We have published our response to the Department of Communities and Local Government consultation on cohesion guidance for funders. NCVO supports the aims and principles of the guidance but do not agree with the underlying assumptions it makes about the role of the voluntary and community sector.
